TWO'S COMPANY

My partner in art, Diana Belluomini and I have been working hard to produce lots of new work for our Exhibition. Admirers of Diana's work will be pleased to see lots of Tuscan scenes that will bring back memories of travel. Her works are generally small size so that you can find a  place for your favourite piece.

My new works are full of colour and texture and would look great in both modern and more traditional homes. A change of style is evident  in the paintings in the Up the Creek Series, but followers of my mixed media will find new pieces still using favourite techniques.

FONT OF LOVE

Upper & Lower Case
I have stolen the title Font of Love from Kathleen Noonan of the Courier Mail  because it describes the way I use fonts as a design tool in my work. She says lovers of words can wrap themselves in them, toss them around willy-nilly and generally rejoice.  I find even the individual letters tossed around are a great design tool which enhance my mixed media compositions.

The Human Condition

Juicy Fruit
If you look closely at the Human Condition and Juicy Fruit you will see words creating design elements in the layers of materials that make up the works. You can see both pictures at the Rotary Art Show at Riverside Centre from April 19 to 27.

I am currently working on pictures for my show in June with artist friend Diana Belluomini. I'm keeping those works secret for a while.
